Practice areas
Six disciplines. One standard of care.
We do not take every case. We take the ones we can build, prove, and try — and we tell you which one you have.
All practice areasAuto Accidents
Rear-end collisions, intersection crashes, and uninsured drivers. We rebuild the moments before impact to prove what the other driver did wrong.
Truck Accidents
Commercial carriers are held to federal standards. When a semi, delivery van, or bus causes harm, the company answers for it.
Motorcycle Crashes
Riders are blamed by default. We counter the bias with physics, road design, and a record of what the other vehicle actually did.
Premises Liability
Stairwells, parking lots, and store aisles that were left unsafe. Property owners owe you a maintained, warned environment.
Workplace Injuries
Beyond workers' compensation. When a third party's negligence caused your injury, there is a second claim to pursue.
Wrongful Death
For families left to carry a loss that should never have happened. Handled with discretion, urgency, and respect.
The method
A case built in order.
No guesswork and no silence. You will always know which stage your file is in and what happens next.
Free consultation
Call or send the form. We listen, ask what happened, and tell you plainly whether you have a case. No fee, no pressure.
Preservation & investigation
We send spoliation letters, pull reports and footage, and retain the experts who can document the injury and the fault.
Demand and negotiation
We build the medical record and the damages file, then present the insurer with a documented demand they cannot dismiss.
Trial, if it comes to that
Most cases resolve. If the offer is not fair, we file and try the case — our clients are never pressured to settle.
Case results
Settlements and verdicts, on the record.
A selection of resolved matters. Each figure is net of nothing but our fee — costs were advanced by the firm.

Client accounts
What it is like to be represented.
Names are abbreviated to protect client confidentiality. Full references available on request.
“They explained every step in plain language and never made me feel like a file on a shelf. When the insurer lowballed me, they went back and got it right.”
Auto accident client
“My husband's case took two years. Mr. Prescott called me himself after every hearing. That is not something I expected from a law firm.”
Wrongful death client
“I was back at work in eight months and my medical bills were handled. No fee came out of my pocket until the case closed.”

Questions
The things people ask first.
If your question is not here, call the office. You will speak with an attorney, not a call center.
Ask us directlyWhat does a consultation cost?
Nothing. The first conversation is free, and we will tell you honestly whether we think you have a claim worth pursuing. If we take the case, we advance the costs of investigation and litigation.
How much is my case worth?
Value depends on the injury, the medical proof, the insurance available, and how the accident happened. We do not quote a number before we have your records — anyone who does is guessing.
When do I have to file?
In Michigan, the general limit for personal injury claims is three years from the date of the injury, with shorter deadlines for government claims and auto no-fault issues. The safest answer is to call now and let us date it.
How much do you charge?
We work on a contingency fee. You pay nothing unless we recover money for you, and the fee is a percentage of the recovery, agreed in writing before we begin.
Will my case go to trial?
Most cases settle. But we prepare every case as if it will be tried, because insurers negotiate differently when they know the file is ready for a jury.
What should I bring to the first meeting?
Bring the police or incident report if you have it, any photos, the names of treating providers, and your insurance information. If you do not have these, come anyway — we will gather them.
No fee unless we win
Tell us what happened. We will tell you where you stand.
A free, confidential review of your case with an attorney — not an intake service. Evening and hospital visits available.
